Welcome to Batley and District Gun Club.
At Batley we shoot English Sporting Clay - 50 birds from 5 positions. The traps change from week to week creating a constantly challenging shoot. The club has a very friendly atmosphere and the members are welcoming and helpful. We meet every other Sunday at Birkby Brow Woods, the shoot starts at 10am and refreshments are available.

The club welcomes new shooters and encourage junior shooters who can become members for £10 and only pay for their cartridges and a nominal fee of £2.50 for the clays. Find out more about Membership.

There is a league in which members compete, this is done on a handicap basis combined with the score on the day. We also hold regular trophy shoots. Go to Fixtures.

The club is also an Affiliated member of the CPSA and the BASC.
